Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorking in the Project Controls environment, manage and maintain project schedule by:Planning and setting up of project schedule with project stakeholders input using PrimaveraFollowing project planning processes and company procedure on all assigned projectsEnsure consistency and reliable progress reportingHighlight any deviation within the programme to the Project Manager, and assist with innovative and appropriate planning adviceImplement planning logic, understanding inter dependencies and knock-on effectsHighlight critical path, Earned Value and appropriate resource loadingTrack baseline vs actual progress on schedulesHighlight risks to ensure project completion on time - raise early warnings with possible impacts to project schedule Weekly reporting to internal and external parties by means of schedule updates and progress reportingAssist subcontractors, align, and integrate project schedules and progress reportsThe role/s may require time on site either part of the week or full time based on the project phaseUnderstanding of bespoke consulting business models and ability to do business developmentDesired Experience & QualificationRelevant qualification essential, professional registration highly recommended6 -10+ years experience in the mining / EPCM industryExperience in a similar role, planning of large construction and installation projects essentialSolid Primavera P6 and MS Projects knowledge essentialSound Understanding of fabrication and installation projects in the mining environmentKnowledge of a Consulting role advantageousDriven Can-do attitude, with a passion for mega projects in the mining industryProcess orientated and assertive to ensure that complex projects are executed in accordance with company established practices and safety requirementsBias for action, based on logical problem solving and experienceAble to work under pressure and to communicate effectively with a wide range of project stakeholdersAttention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the outputsAnalytical thinker, energetic and flexibleEPCM Contract experience advantageousPower BI experience recommendedMust be willing to travel to project sitesMust be medically fit to work on mining sitesPackage & RemunerationMarket related - negotiable depending on qualifications and experiencePermanent position onlong term mega projects, with the intention of becoming Australian perm residentInterested?Please submit detailed and updated CV in MS Word format TODAY!Kindly take note:Only shortlisted candidates will be contactedShould you not receive any feedback within 30 days of application, please consider your application unsuccessful.
