Wt Pallet Truck Operator

Our client is looking for an experienced WT Pallet Truck operator to join their company/team on a temporary contract.
Job Requirements Minimum experience: 1 to 3 years of experience Reside in East London is non-negotiable  Must have a valid F12 (WT) - 2 Ton license (attached with application) Must have matric Job duties 1.
Operating Pallet Truck Safely operate manual or electric pallet trucks to transport goods.
Maneuver pallet trucks in confined spaces and between racking systems.
Ensure loads are stable and secure before moving.

Loading and Unloading Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
Stack and store goods in designated areas.
Assist in organizing products on pallets for efficient storage and transport.

Inventory Management Keep accurate records of stock moved in and out of storage.
Assist with stock counting and inventory audits.
Ensure that products are correctly labeled and organized.
4.
Health and Safety Compliance Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure the pallet truck is in good working condition.
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor.
5.
Warehouse Maintenance Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with general warehouse duties such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing pallets.
Support other warehouse staff with tasks as needed.
6.
Communication and Coordination Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors.
Coordinate with other forklift or pallet truck drivers to ensure smooth operations.
Follow instructions from supervisors regarding the movement and storage of goods.
7.
Documentation Fill out relevant paperwork or digital logs for goods transported.
Document any incidents or issues that occur during operations.
