Our client, a reputable name in the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced Workshop Team Leader to spearhead workshop operations. In this pivotal role, you will supervise workshop employees, ensuring that servicing activities are conducted efficiently and to the highest standards, ultimately meeting departmental targets and delivering exceptional service.Duties & ResponsibilitiesJob Objectives:Supervision of daily staff activities.Effective daily planning of work ensuring efficiency at all times.Allocate available Technician according to the production plans.Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction is met consistently.Control WIP (Work In Progress) until completed.Liaise with service advisor to ensure correct completion and processing of documentation.Monitor and control progress of jobs ensuring feedback to service advisors.Ensure relevant technical literature is in place providing guidance where required.Ensure that Technicians comply with our clients' Standards.Ensure necessary control of workshop equipment, vehicles and special tools.Observe and follow directives given in policies, instructions as well as SHEQ.Ensure road testing and programming of vehicles according to required standards.Ensure vehicle testing is carried out.Address any issues of poor workmanship immediately.Qualifications & Job ExperienceMatric / N3.Diesel Mechanic Trade Test.Five (5) years' experience working as a Diesel Mechanical, 2 of which must be in a Team Leader/ Supervisor capacity within the workshop environment.Key CompetenciesSupervision of people.Develop and train.Ability to effectively organise work.LeadershipDiagnostic expertise.Package & RemunerationMonthly
