"JOB DESCRIPTION: Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, lubricating, and adjusting equipment components to ensure proper functioning.
Diagnostic and Repair: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in earthmoving equipment.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery.
Equipment Testing: Conduct performance tests and diagnostic procedures to assess the efficiency and functionality of earthmoving equipment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including work orders, service reports, and parts inventory.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, including operators and supervisors, to understand equipment issues and prioritize repairs.QUALIFICATION & SKILLS REQUIREMENT: Accredited Tertiary qualification or equivalent Civil Industry qualifications.
Minimum 5-8 years' experience.
