Our client based in Mahikeng is looking for a well seasoned Workshop Manager to manage their 3 operating centers, ensuring a safe and reliable service
Key requirement 10 years experience working in the transport industryProven 10 year management of vehicle fleet maintenance and operations Full understanding of the DOT tender contract and regulationsStrong preventative maintenance systems knowledge is requiredExpert knowledge of technical regulations related to passenger transportStrong budgeting experience Previous experience in working with a variety of CMMSTransport Management DiplomaHighly skilled communicator with the ability to manage multiple projects through to completionProject management skillsProven analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsStrong computer skillsKey responsibilities Develop and monitor technical and capital budgets in order to meet company objectivesDirect accountability of the Opex and Capex budget and tracking all expenditures for the different business unitsManage coach and develop a high performance management systemCreate implement and monitor performance indicators on a quarterly basisEngage departmental heads to create and implement revenue and passenger objectives and customer service goalsProvide meaningful operational data, interpret trends and analyze and review data to aid preparation of monthly, quarterly reportsOverseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet and equipmentEnsure optimum use of the CMMS for efficient maintenance management of the fleetMaintain accurate maintenance records for each vehicle in the fleet in line with the CMMS in operationEnsure quality, compliance and safety of company's assets
