DUTIESEXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF RUNNING A TRUCK / TANKER WORKSHOPCross border breakdownsEnsure that the occupational health and safety act regulations are adhered to in the workshopMonitor asset register.Able to work together with the drivers and other company departments.Assist in managing the budget.Oversee maintenance to the vehicle fleet (Volvo and FAW trucks)Manage maintenance of facilities, tools and equipment.Control parts, workshop tools and equipment.Manage administration functions EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONA minimum of Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification.Qualified Diesel Mechanic (other Artisan trade qualifications will also be considered).A post matric qualification in the technical / N4 engineering field will be a strong advantage.At least 5-8 years working experience in managing heavy duty workshop.Proven track record in vehicle fleet management
