Workshop Foreman

Duties & Requirements: Daily maintenance of the workshop and office. Staff management. Ordering workshop consumables and job equipment. Designing base plates for new quotations (AutoCAD would be an advantage). Making sure all equipment is in good working order and keeping all certificates up to date. Maintaining vehicles with scheduled services. Building pump sets (Also training others to do this. Would prefer to have a candidate who can do the job hands-on, but rather supervises others to achieve results). Liaising with Salesmen regarding pump builds. This is an important function. Keeping a build register for QCP documents (new builds and repairs). Placing orders with suppliers. Assisting branches with drawings and quotations on baseplates. Quality control. Site commissioning and repair work. Ensuring the workshops in Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg are up to scratch for their purpose. Monitoring the drivers and store staff. Opening up in the mornings.
