To direct and manage the efficient functioning of the workshop in its entirety.
Inclusive of workshop employees, project management and time management.
To ensure the workshop department runs at a profit.
The Workshop Foreman position requires reduced hours oftechnical support to key customers.Key areas of responsibility:- Ensure the day to day effective management of the Workshop floor- Ensure the effective management of workshop related administration- Attend to pro-active customer support alerts- Ensure the effective and efficient administrative management and customer servicedelivery / liaison- Daily execution of technical support in terms of equipment servicing, repairs, andtechnology / precision farming equipment support (at reduced hours to allow for adminrequirements)- Ensure and adhere to Health and Safety Standards, as well as ISO Standards- Protect and manage the company machinery and tools- Ensure effective Human Capital Management of all workshop staff- Manage and oversee the up-to-date training of techniciansMUST have a trade test.Email CV + trade test ASAP.Minimum 5 years Technical Experience/ Mechanic- Minimum 5 years experience Product Knowledgein Agriculture Mechanization (equipment andimplements)R48,000 R52,000 (negotiable) depending on qualifications and work experience.
