Workshop Foreman (Agri) in Pitermaritzburg region.
To direct and manage the efficient functioning of the workshop in its entirety.
Inclusive of workshop employees, project management and time management.
To ensure the workshop department runs at a profit.
The Workshop Foreman position requires reduced hours oftechnical support to key customers.Key areas of responsibility:- Ensure the day to day effective management of the Workshop floor- Ensure the effective management of workshop related administration- Attend to pro-active customer support alerts- Ensure the effective and efficient administrative management and customer servicedelivery / liaison- Daily execution of technical support in terms of equipment servicing, repairs, andtechnology / precision farming equipment support (at reduced hours to allow for adminrequirements)- Ensure and adhere to Health and Safety Standards, as well as ISO Standards- Protect and manage the company machinery and tools- Ensure effective Human Capital Management of all workshop staff- Manage and oversee the up-to-date training of techniciansMUST have a trade test.Email CV + trade test ASAP.Minimum 5 years' Technical Experience/ Mechanic- Minimum 5 years' experience Product Knowledgein Agriculture Mechanization (equipment andimplements)R48, – R52, (negotiable) depending on qualifications and work experience.
