Are you a Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse looking for an office-based role where you can still use your clinical expertise to make a positive difference?
We're looking for a Nurse to join our Workforce Engagement Team to play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our agency nurses and support workers, who are essential in delivering care to our clients.
In this role, you will foster engagement, retention, and professional development within our workforce, directly contributing to their well-being and effectiveness. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Governance Team to ensure that practices and support are safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led, driving accountability, change, and clinical excellence within the workforce.
By integrating workforce engagement with clinical governance, you will help drive best practices and high standards, ensuring that our care services are exemplary and our workforce is well-supported, motivated, and developed!
Every Day You Will…
Create a supportive environment for nurses and support workers to enhance engagement and retention.
Foster professional development opportunities for the workforce, signposting to training and upskilling opportunities that align with career aspirations of the workforce and care delivery needed for our clients.
Assist in delivering the clinical training strategy including induction training and remote delivery of skills training.
Conduct clinical skills discussions for registered nurses at recruitment and as part of ongoing compliance.
Review and sign off digital Nurse interviews for new candidates, ensuring recruitment standards are consistently met.
Help triage clinical support in real time so that our workforce can always speak to a clinician, and to signpost to the various support services or UK-based teams to support further.

To Thrive in This Role, You Must...
Be a Learning Disability or Mental Health Nurse with an active SANC number.
Have experience in working with people who present with behaviours that challenge and have complex support needs.
Have confidence in delivering training around different diagnoses within this field.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
