Job Purpose: We are seeking a Workforce and Labor Planning Analyst to join our logistics team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize labor efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
This role will involve detailed analysis of headcount versus volume metrics, productivity, overtime, absenteeism, and shift patterns.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the right workforce levels are in place to meet operational demands while improving efficiency.
Duties Responsibilities: Labor Planning Forecasting:
Analyze workforce requirements by evaluating headcount against logistics volume forecasts and operational needs.
Ensure alignment between labor supply and business demand.Data Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and interpret labor data, including productivity stats, absenteeism rates, overtime, and labor costs.
Identify trends and anomalies, providing actionable insights to improve performance.Trend Identification:
Use historical and real-time data to recognize patterns in workforce performance, including productivity trends, shift efficiency, and attendance issues.
Propose proactive solutions to address inefficiencies.Shift Pattern Management:
Analyze and recommend shift patterns that maximize productivity while balancing labor costs.
Ensure optimal coverage for peak operational periods while minimizing idle time or overtime.Cost Efficiency Analysis:
Evaluate labor costs, proposing strategies to optimize workforce allocation and reduce unnecessary expenses.
Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures in alignment with operational goals.Reporting:
Generate and maintain accurate reports on labor efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance metrics for stakeholders.
Provide real-time insights to support decision-making processes.Collaboration:
Work closely with operations, HR, and finance teams to ensure the effective implementation of labor strategies and optimize workforce allocation across the business.
