Position: WordPress Developer for an Established Digital Marketing Company (Plettenberg Bay)

The client is seeking a passionate and experienced WordPress Developer to join their team, dedicated to delivering top-tier services to corporate clients. Because of their ongoing growth they require a skilled WordPress Developer to manage projects and ensure the smooth operation of their clients' websites.

• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards working with corporate clients
Requirements
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
• Expertise in building and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
• Proficient in Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and other tracking tools
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
• Experience with hosting platforms, domain management, and website migrations
• SEO best practices familiarity
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Must own a car
• Must be available to work at the Plettenberg site from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and remotely afterward
• Knowledge of office management tools like Google Drive and Google Mail is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Build new websites and maintain existing WordPress sites
• Install and manage Google tracking tools like Google Analytics and Tag Manager
• Migrate websites between hosting providers with minimal downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues
• Collaborate with clients and the team to ensure project goals are met
• Manage updates and backups to ensure website security and stability
• Assist with other web development tasks as needed
