Responsibilities include:
Monitor the WMS system's overall performance, including user access, system and location configurations, item master, and database administration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify system improvements, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing system issues, troubleshooting errors, and optimising system performance.
Conduct regular system audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and system accuracy.
Monitor system performance and reports; analyse data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for system optimization.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in WMS technology, making recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades.
Participate in the development and execution of testing plans for system upgrades, patches, and new functionalities.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data security, system backups, disaster recovery plans, and compliance.
Assist with operational processes, including but not limited to order processing, picking, shipping, and cycle counting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualification.
2-3 years of experience in technical support.
Ability to proactively manage user health and identify user issues and needs.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to understand problems, use various
technical tools to identify the root causes, and execute resolutions.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
