Origin Wines, located in Stellenbosch, currently has a position available for a Winemaker to join their team. The ideal candidate is a driven individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for:the process of winemaking and blending according to required standardsplanning and intake of wine for bottling and bulkpreparation of wine for all bottling productions of the Origin Wine brands at the Origin Facility and Externalthird-party products/bottlings filled at Origin Wine site, including the administrative records, communication and signing off on third-party wines and requested servicespreparation of wine for all bulk export orders at the Origin Facilitycellar staff managementcellar administrationall other tasks related to the role.Essential minimum qualifications, skills and experience:Diploma or Degree in Oenology and Viticulture;Minimum 5 years' relevant winemaking experience in a similar environment;Knowledge of different quality control systems;Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, Wine MS);Reliable own transport with valid driver's license;Willingness to work hours as per wine industry requirements.Please apply online at www.m3online.co.za before 09:00 on 11 April 2023.
