Lutzville Vineyards, located in the picturesque Olifantsriver Valley, is a well-established producer of bulk and bottled wine, offering superior quality and value. The cellar currently has a dynamic career opportunity for an energetic Winemaker to join their production team. The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager. Responsibilities: Winemaking (large range of different wines) Quality control Personnel management Stock control Wine administration Wine tastings and liaison Maintenance and housekeeping Maintaining quality systems Requirements: A formal qualification (degree / diploma) in viticulture and oenology Minimum of 5 years' experience as Winemaker Excellent management skills High level of confidentiality Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously Self-driven and independent Excellent computer proficiencies (WineMS / EZYWine) Excellent interpersonal- and communication skills The ability to function effectively as part of a team Excellent organisational and planning skills Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) Valid driver's license The company offers market-related remuneration and benefits, based on the successful applicant's experience and qualifications.
