Wine Studio Manager

You will excel in this role if you want to lead the Leeu Passant Wine Studio team in offering exceptional fine wine tastings to guests, possess great social skills accompanied with strict discipline regarding tasting room etiquette, sales systems administration, stock control and time management.
Main Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the Wine StudioEnsure the Wine Studio staff are managed effectively, in line with Leeu Collection policiesEnsure all collateral in kept up to dateDrive sales and promotionsRun daily cash up reporting and monthly reportingManage group bookings and exclusive tastingsManage the Wine Studio's sales and operating budgetEnsure staff performance are on par with expected outcomesTrain and develop staff, alongside Chris and Andrea MullineuxManage and oversee stock controlMonthly reporting to FinanceRespond to e-mail and perform other administrative dutiesCustomer complaint resolutionUltimate responsibility for preparing orders for shipping and arranging collection with couriersEnsure that all legislative provisions regarding financial reporting, manpower management and liquor management are strictly adhered toDeal with all maintenance issuesAdhere to Health and Safety StandardsExperience and Skills: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Sales / TourismMinimum of 3 years' experience in managing a Tasting Room / Wine StudioStrong leadership skills and high attention to detailExperience in a 5-star luxury hotel environment would be advantageousExcellent timekeeping and good communication skillsAbility to work under pressureInherent Requirements: Matric CertificateDriver's licenseHigh level of attention to detailPreference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas
