Reference: 9731 AVConsultant: Anneke ViviersJob Description:Client relationship managementDevelop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders.Create unique engagement between the key account customers.Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs in the region.Conduct regular business reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and provide solutions.Sales growthAchieve sales targets and volume objectives set for assigned key accounts.Identify new business opportunities within established accounts through upselling and cross-selling strategies.Understand specific needs, opportunities, and customer requests to target future growth.Collaborate with the sales team to develop customised solutions and proposals tailored to meet key client needs and requirements.Account planningDevelop and implement account plans aligned with company objectives.Forecast and track key account sales and profitability.Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities within key accounts.Internal coordination, leadership, and controlPerform brand/product training on all levels to enhance product knowledge to sell with confidence.Understand each SKU/product costing while being comfortable with the ROI calculation formula/table to always maintain and improve profit margin.Contract negotiationNegotiate contracts and agreements with key account clients to ensure terms and conditions are favourable to the company.Monitor the performance of and compliance with contracts/SLA.Execute promotions and listing drives & brand representation.Maintain an awareness of all competitors' current promotions and advertisements.Execute promotions and marketing strategies for all key account customers.Execute and represent special events, festivals, and marketing programs to enhance the image and reputation of the brand in the marketplace.Implement and distribute point of sale materials for key accounts.Act as brand ambassador when necessary, on-site or in the field.Participate in welcoming clients and prospects on and off-site.Contribute actively towards developing the scope of product and brand awareness.Contribute to intra-group synergies.Participate in group meetings and leverage group.Contribute to improving margins and cash flow/working capital.Monthly activity to ensure reduction of slow rotation stock.Monthly monitoring of margin along with management controllers to reduce any differences.Qualifications:Grade 12Diploma or similar qualification in Business Management5 years' experience in the South African sales environment.Exceptional relationship skillsStrong negotiation, communication (presentation skills), and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of successful sales growth and business development within the wine industryCape Wine Academy or WSET will be beneficialJob Type: Full-time
