As the Wine and Olive Farm Manager, you will oversee every aspect of their grape and olive production. You will be responsible for managing vineyard and olive grove operations, ensuring sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities: · Manage all facets of grape and olive production, from vineyard and grove maintenance to harvest. · Implement and maintain sustainable farming practices to ensure top-quality wine and olive oil. · Supervise and support farm staff, including training, scheduling, and optimizing labour efficiency. · Oversee irrigation, soil health, pruning, and pest control. · Handle farm budgets, procure materials, and maintain equipment. · Collaborate closely with the cellar team to align grape production with winemaking objectives. · Participate in estate events, such as farm tours and wine tastings. · Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and sustainability standards. Candidate Requirements: · At least 5 years of experience in viticulture and olive farming, with demonstrated farm management expertise. · Relevant qualifications in agriculture, viticulture, or a related field (preferred). · Strong understanding of soil management, irrigation systems, and crop health. · Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. · Experience with sustainable farming practices and their implementation. · Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for farm operations. · Genuine passion for wine and olive oil production, with an eye for quality and innovation.
