Wind Analyst

We have a client with an amazing opportunity for a Wind Analyst based in Cape Town, Western Cape Role: Wind Analyst Industry: Renewable Energy Level: Mid-Senior Level Key Requirements: Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification Professional Engineering registration (Pr.Eng) is a plus Proficiency in wind resource assessment tools such as Windographer, Windsim, and Openwind Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting wind data using met masts and remote sensing devices Strong background in optimization, energy yield assessments, and layout optimization Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models and long-term correlation methods Ability to manage and oversee wind campaigns and equipment procurement Personal Attributes: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to project management Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including energy consultants and turbine manufacturers If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to engineering.vacancystand-outstaffing.co.za or contact us at XXX-XXXX.
