Wetland Specialist (Ballito)

Requirements:- BSc Honours Degree in an appropriate environmental field or equivalent (MSc preferable)- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in wetland assessments- SACNASP Professional Registration- Proven work experience in wetland delineation and assessment, wetland offsetting and mitigation strategies, and wetland rehabilitation- GIS expertise- Experience in aquatic and hydropedology assessments (advantageous)- Own vehicle- Knowledge of AutoCAD (advantageous)- Excellent scientific report writing skills- Experience in proposal/tender compilation and management- Familiarity with the National Water Act, 1998 (Act 36 of 1998) and related policies, strategies, and guidelines, as well as other environmental legislation- Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours when required- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision- Language capabilities: Fluent in English (other languages advantageous)By submitting any Personal Information to MPRTC in any form you acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable unconditional, specific and voluntary consent to the processing and storing of such Personal Information by MPRTC and/or MPRTCs clients and/or verification information suppliers.
