Wet Services / Fire Technician

Responsible for the design and implementation of wet and fire protection systems for a range of building projects.
Key responsibilities include: Develop detailed designs for wet and fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, and fire pumps.Prepare calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations.Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate wet and fire protection systems into overall project designs.Participate in project meetings and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Requirements: National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering4 or more years experience in mechanical wet and fire protection designProficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant toolsKnowledge of local building codes and NFPA standards
