Responsibilities: Performing full plumbing and drainage designs in accordance with SANS 0252 and SANS 10400. Performing design and BIM modelling, and/or CAD draughting. Project financial management: Generating project budgets, valuation certificates and cost reports. Generating tender documents, measuring of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and compiling tender documents and technical specifications. Attending site visits and meetings and performing any actions arising therefrom. Managing project resourcing and profitability. Efficiently engineer and model design using technical and 3D/BIM modeling skills. Working within a multidisciplinary team across borders. Health and Safety: Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve zero harm. Requirements: Must have a BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University Minimum of 3 years experience in wet services design. MEPF building services experience highly advantageous Candidate engineer with ECSA. Professionally registered with ECSA highly advantageous Autodesk software experience such as Revit and AutoCAD & ACC software experience Solid knowledge of SANS 0252 and SANS 10400 and supplemental knowledge of the equivalent CIBSE/BS/ASPE codes highly advantageous. Extensive knowledge of local and international standards and codes Solid and demonstrated experience in project budgets, valuation certificates and cost reports Solid and demonstrated experience in tender documents, measuring of Bills of Quantities and compiling tender documents Experience with data centres / mission-critical / industrial facilities is essential (non-negotiable) Excellent communication skills Excellent team relationship skills The ability to work independently and with limited supervision
