Job Title: Production ManagerLocation: Cape Town - Cape Flats (Maccassar - Landsdowne)
The successful candidate will implement and maintain integration and co-operation of all aspects within the operation of the Company to ensure effective and efficient production, optimising yields and minimising waste.
The candidate will be reporting to the Operations Manager.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan and operate an efficient production of all productsMinimise waste productsContinuously improve and implement new systems and process technologiesOversee maximum product traceabilityOversee maintenance and housekeeping of production areasSetting up production capital, operating and maintenance budgetsInvolved in the design, layout and setting up of new production linesHealth and Safety CustodianDesired Experience & QualificationManagement and Food Technology Qualification (Not negotiable)5 – 8 years Management and Production ExperienceSound knowledge of production processesExperience in lean manufacturingExcellent problem solving and Analytical skillsLeadership and Management SkillsAbility to relate at all levelsHonest, ethical with high performance standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailPackage & RemunerationMarket related salary with benefits
