Edits and distributes timely and accurate information to media outlets, the City's Public Information Officer and the general public. Develops and maintains content and images for the Department's website, electronic newsletters and surveys and various social media platforms. Works extensively with assigned functional areas, i.e., Sun Splash Family Waterpark, Coral Oaks Golf Course, CRA, to create, coordinate and facilitate marketing, advertising and public relations initiatives within budget, as well as with other divisions to assist with the development of advertisements and specialty marketing pieces. Supervises the administration and coordination of internal and contracted advertising/marketing services and promotional activities. Serves as the Department's liaison to advertising agencies, media, vendors, the City's PIO and community organizations. Coordinates the efforts of an administrative support team to assist with website, print and social media communications.
