Join us in shaping the future of web development!Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications to support business needs.Document procedures, functionality and configuration changes as required for new features and plug-ins, for approval by the Team Leader.Work as part of a project team for any E-commerce-related projects.Assisting the web development team with all aspects of website and application design.Must be available to travel and be on standby.QualificationsTertiary qualification with a B.Tech or diploma in web development is essential.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 2 years experience as a Web developer is essential.Working knowledge and experience in Shopify Storefront API is essential.Experience with Node.js and Heroku or similar cloud-based platforms: Proven experience in developing and deploying applications using Node.js, with a strong understanding of server-side development and cloud-based deployment.Working experience within an E-commerce environment is essential.Working knowledge of theme development on Shopify is advantageous.Experience working with HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSON and Node.js is advantageous.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to take responsibility and be decisive.Ability to work within a team.Effective planning and organisational skills.Ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure.High focus on attention to detail.Valid driver's licence and own transport.
