ResponsibilitiesWEB DESIGN Frontend Website design and developmentWebsite UX design and understandingContent maintenance of current websitesUpdating of current websiteMeeting with clients for digital marketing requirementsGenerating reports of websitesConceptualising creative ideas with clientsTesting and improving the design of the websiteMaintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standardsDesigning visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clientsWorking with different content management systemsCommunicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframesIncorporating functionalities and features into websitesDesigning sample pages including colours and fontsPreparing design plans and presenting the website structureWorking with the IT department to maintain security updates TEAMWORK Build relationships and support all business units LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT Continuously develop product knowledge, attend industry events/seminars/conferences, and participate in supplier workshops, educationals, exhibitions and trade shows when necessaryKeep abreast of web design and communication branding trends and technologyRequirementsMatric / Grade 12 or equivalentA diploma or degree in design would be preferable3 Years of Web Design experienceProficient in WordPressHTML5 and CSS3 knowledge.
