Job Description This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients with a view to retaining and growing the business and is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts, over periods of 3 months to a year.
This role is a third party marketing/key account manager role that supports and influences independent investment writing IFA's to place business with OM (BD: Wealth). The WAM endeavours to activate and increase the number of investment IFA's in the market and secure more business inflows/retention from these IFA's. Typical focus areas for the WAM position will be:
Marketing (sell) OM's wealth products/platforms to independent IFA'sSupporting the IFA's in their practice (i.e.: IWP tool, coaching etc)Educating IFA's on OM's offering as well as financial planning topicsBuilding partnering relationshipsFacilitating the execution of efficient administration/processing of businessKnowledge and Skills: IT/Systems: MS: Office (Excel, Word, PP)MS Outlook/ExplorerPortfolio AnalyticsMy ClientOMW websiteIWP toolCRM systemBusiness: Sound Financial Services Industry KnowledgeProduct Knowledge (BD/OMW and competitors) ~ primarily InvestmentsFinancial planning processes and principlesFinancial market instruments, vehicles, indicators and measurement toolsRelevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledgeSound legal technical knowledge (linked to products/compliance)BD NB and EB processesBD's marketing and segmentation principles/model (incl.
