Wastewater Engineer – Cape Town (Ref CT0113)Cape TownZAR 200000 - 300000JG Afrika is looking for a wastewater and water engineer to undertake designs and contract administration for projects in our Cape Town office.Duties and Responsibilities:Designing of wastewater infrastructure and conducting process assessments.Preparing contract documentation and managing contract administration.Providing Green Drop assistance.Travelling on short notice and working on site as required.Qualifications:BTech (Civil Eng) or BSc Eng CivilMust be registered as an ECSA Candidate and be close to professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)A valid driver's licence is essentialExperience:5-10 years' post grad experience in wastewater infrastructure design, treatment plant process assessments and contract administration.Skills:Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work in the field.Strong communication skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civils 3D, and advanced Microsoft MS Word and MS Projects.Notes:JG Afrika is committed to the principles of BBBEE for the advancement of previously disadvantaged individuals.
