Wastewater Engineer – Cape Town (Ref CT0113)JG Afrika is looking for a wastewater and water engineer to undertake designs and contract administration for projects in our Cape Town office.Duties and Responsibilities:• Designing of wastewater infrastructure and conduct process assessments.• Preparing contract documentation and managing contract administration.• Providing Green Drop assistance.• Travelling on short notice and work on site as required.Qualifications:• BTech (Civil Eng) or BSc Eng Civil• Must be registered as an ECSA Candidate and be close to professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)• A valid driver's licence is essentialExperience:• 5-10 years' post grad experience in wastewater infrastructure design, treatment plant process assessments and contract administration.Skills:• Ability to work independently and part of a team.• Willingness to work in the field.• Strong communication skills.• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civils 3D, and advanced Microsoft MS Word and MS Projects.Notes:• JG Afrika is committed to the principals of BBBEE for the advancement of previously disadvantaged individuals.• Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates only.
