Wastewater Engineer – Cape Town (Ref CT0112)JG Afrika is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Engineer to join our Cape Town office.
Duties and Responsibilities:Designing of wastewater infrastructure and conducting process assessments.Preparing contract documentation and managing contract administration.Providing Green Drop assistance.Traveling on short notice and working on-site as required.Qualifications:Minimum of a BSc / BEng / B Tech in Civil Engineering.Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer / Technologist (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng).Valid driver's licence.Experience:10-15 years of post-graduation experience in wastewater infrastructure design, treatment plant process assessments, and contract administration.Skills:Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to work in the field.Strong communication skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civils 3D, and Microsoft Office (advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Projects).Notes:Must be able to supply traceable and contactable references.
