MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Qualification: 4 year Degree / NQF level 7, Diploma warehousing/Logistics Experience in a similar role: 5 years PLUS DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team of warehouseprofessionals.Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimizeoperations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsand external stakeholders.Experience working in an international or multi-national warehouse environment is highly desirableStandardization of Warehouses:Develop and implement standardized warehouse processes, including Bin location management, receiving,storage, picking, packing, and distribution.Establish and enforce uniform operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across allConduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.Bin location standardization and rationalization in line with SKU management from category and procurement teamsStock Management Processes:Oversee all aspects of stock management, from receipt of goods to issuance and repurposing. Implement robust inventory control measures to minimize stock variances and ensure accurate stock levels across allLead initiatives for stock repurposing, optimizing inventory utilization, and minimizing excess or obsolete stock.Management of Stock Controllers:Recruit, train, and supervise a team of stock controllers responsible for day-to-day operations in the warehouseProvide leadership and direction to stock controllers, setting clear performance objectives and KPIs.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance teamONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
