REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.• ± 2 Years experience in route planning, transportation logistics, or a similar role.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.• Proficiency in routing software and tools, such as GPS navigation systems, route optimization software, and fleet management systems.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, drivers, and external partners.• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in route planning and execution.• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome obstacles and optimize routes.• Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed to monitor route performance or address emergenciesRESPONSIBILITIES:• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of route controllers.• Assign duties and schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for monitoring and controlling routes.• Train and develop team members to improve their performance and skills.• Analyze and monitor existing routes to ensure they are efficient and cost-effective.• Identify opportunities for route optimization to reduce travel time, fuel consumption, and overall costs.• Collaborate with logistics or planning teams to implement new routes or update existing ones.• Supervise the monitoring of routes and transportation assets (vehicles, drivers, etc.)
to ensure compliance with schedules.• Respond to real-time issues such as delays, breakdowns, or incidents, and provide quick resolutions.• Use route planning and tracking software to oversee route progress and performance.• Conduct post-route analysis to identify areas of improvement in performance.
