KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and visionOversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations · Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresAdhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirementsMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security (HSSE)Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systemLiaise with clients, suppliers and transport companiesProduce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services providedFacilitate relevant warehouse inspectionsSupervise 3rd party warehousingDrive customer requirements / standardsProvide other services, as the occasion arisesWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the Warehousing fieldMinimum 3-5 years of functional Management experienceAbility to manage change in the work environmentDG compliance knowledgeSQAS knowledge will be beneficialProven work experience as a warehouse supervisorExpertise in warehouse management procedures and best practicesProven ability to implement process improvement initiativesStrong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databasesLeadership skills and ability manage staffStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsGood planning skills and the ability to work under pressureTravel will be required
