We invite suitably qualified candidatesto apply for Warehouse Supervisor position under theServices Department . The position will report to LogisticsManager and is based in Wolmerton Depot, Pretoria North(Gauteng). Job Purpose
Oversee Logisticsoperators' team (Gibela employees or external provider), take care ofthe execution, physically and in the information system, of the counts& movements of materials for a dedicated warehouse area. Alignphysical flow & system flow.Key Responsibilities
Ensure that employees operate in an environment that complieswith company Health, Safety and Environmental policiesEnsure adherence to all Environmental, Health & Safety regulationswithin the warehouse and associated areasEnsure thematerial availability, integrity & delivery on time to all feedingregional depots and repair center workshop line.Managethe physical material flows in area of responsibility (reception, putaway, kitting, mirror area, shipping and transfers) to always keepphysical and system flows alignedWork closely withWarehouse Key User to manage the stock in the ERP system according tothe core model and to train Logistics operatorsMonitor &challenge the performance of his area activity through Key PerformanceIndicatorsActively contribute to the ContinuousImprovement activities & APSYS roadmap and continually improve thewarehouse organization & processes.Ensure implementationof all standard processes & golden rules in compliance with LogisticHandbookParticipate to the warehouse layout and optimizethe storage space and ensure good housekeeping and storage ofmaterials including preservation of items with special storagerequirementsPerform Repairable stock reconciliations, byensuring that a broken part is received for every good part issuedManage team skills matrix and managing compliance ofmobile equipment's and lifting equipment, including Fork Lift TrucksAssist with the identification and disposal of surplus andobsolete materialRespect any special stock managementand storage regulations (chemicals, battery, …)Take careof the planning and execution of transportation & logistics flows withregional depots to fulfill Sites Supply Chain requirementsAnalyse the Root Causes of any logistic issues and agree with theinternal stakeholders and the Management of the 3PL on correctiveactions. Follow up on these actions and participate in theirrealizationNationalDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management. Logistics or IndustrialEngineeringPrevious technical knowledge and experience3 years warehouse supervision experienceSAPERP System knowledgeExperience in warehouse equipment'sutilisationAdvance Excel skills will be an advantageClosing Date
