Our client within the Hardware / Buildware industry, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their Warehouse in East London.Requirements:Previous experience in the hardware / buildware industry (NON-NEGOTIABLE)Proven experience as a Supply Chain Controller / Stock Controller or Warehouse SupervisorContactable referencesClear criminal recordResponsibilities:Ensure stock accuracy by keeping stock as accurate as possible via ongoing stock takes.Investigating stock problems / inaccuraciesAdjusting stock to correct any inaccuracies where necessaryAssisting with Homeware stock requests from other branchesEnsuring that all stock areas and stock items are neatly labelled, packed and easily accessibleChanging pricing of stock as requiredControlling of damaged store stockChecking store dispatches and ensures correct documentation is sent and signed for.Oversee all the admin processes (IBT/GRV)Route deliveries if needed.Oversee warehouse staff.Maintain optimum stock levelsEnsure stock is available when it is requiredOptimize the logistical supply chain:Minimum supply delivery periodMinimize logistical costsMinimize unplanned purchasesEnsure control environment is maintained and correct processes are followed as detailed per SOPs.Ensure all documentation is signed, stamped and filed correctlyEnsure the materials management environment operates at the highest standards at all times.Advise on foreseeable shortages that will impact the business in advance to ensure sufficient reaction timePractising FIFO on Raw Materials Monitoring aging stockEnsuring that stock levels are properly monitored and recorded to ensure prior stock orders before stock runs outSalary: R10k - R12kPlease note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered and contacted.
