They are looking for a Warehouse/Stock Controller to become part of their team.

This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.Skills required to perform the function:MS Excel and Word experiencePrior experience in Warehousing/Stock ControllingMust be able to communicate verbally and in writing in both English and AfrikaansMust be able to do forward planning and monthly budget analysisPrimary Duties:Run production process and ensure budget stock is manufactured and sent to Cape Town branch and Durban branchEnsure production quality standards are maintainedEnsure machinery and tools are properly maintained and servicedGeneral housekeepingFactory maintenance and up keeping is done internally and externallyEnsure all stock is packed neatly and in the same placeTo Ensure that factory and building security is in placeTo assist with repairs if Repair technician requests the sameTo Ensure that all paperwork and procedures are followed in terms of Company proceduresEnsure all warranties are submitted to suppliers or the Johannesburg office in accordance with company proceduresTo Ensure all stock is clean, new and free from any defectsEnsure health and safety standards are implemented and followedManage staff in the warehouse and production facilityDo weekly stock takesStock ordering from Suppliers as per budgetsEnsuring budget expenses are maintainedControlling Freight expenditure and arranging of trucks to Cape Town and Durban branchesSecondary Duties:Communicate with staff and management to address account and customer issuesKeep all filing up to date in terms of the company process flowMaintain Good Corporate GovernanceReport all irregularities, financial or otherwise, to the shareholdersEnsure warehouse is kept clean inside and outsideEnsure all staff clock in and out as per company procedureGeneral:The person must be a team player who is prepared to assist other employees when they are on leave or sickThe person must have a strong character and be able to stand up for their point of viewMust be able to interact with employers and employees who are demandingBe a proactive thinker, good planner, and diligent about their workMaintains a high level of neatness and takes pride in the quality of their workBe able to work at the standard set by the companyMust be prepared to work overtime as per operational requirementsMust be willing to travel if requested (travel at this stage is very seldom if at all)
