Warehouse Quality Controller

Candidate Requirements:Grade 12Must have at least 2-3 years proven quality control experienceMust be computer literate (MS Office)Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills (Afrikaans and English)Knowledge of the food and beverage or retail industry would be advantageousA valid forklift licence would be advantageousShould be detail-orientated and hard-working Must be reliable and trustworthy, with sober habitsShould be happy to work on weekends, public holidays and overtimeResponsibilities:Perform incoming inspection proceduresPerform quality control on sampled products in the warehouse; flag and escalate any issues to the quality managerAssist in resolving non-conformance and improving food safety and quality systems and processesStock picking and order consolidationPerform general stock control operations in the warehouseParticipate in regular stock takesAdhere to all health and safety protocolsPerform general warehouse dutiesAssist with quality checks at receivingThis is a live-out position Salary: R7,5kpm
