Warehouse Picker/Packer (1 year contract) Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
Responsibilities
Order Picking: Efficiently locate and pick items from designated locations based on order specifications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Quality Control: Inspect items for damage or discrepancies before packing to maintain high-quality standards.Packing: Carefully pack picked items into boxes, using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.Labeling: Clearly label packages with shipping information, ensuring all details are accurate to facilitate smooth delivery.Order Verification: Confirm that all items picked match the order details before sealing packages.Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and report any discrepancies.Cleanliness: Keep the picking and packing area organized and free from clutter to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Grade 10 with previous experience in a warehouse picking and packing role (Training will be provided)Ability to read, write and understand EnglishStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Good physical stamina (Ability to lift and carry heavy items)Able to commute to Linbro Park, Sandton dailyA South African Citizen
