Managing the warehouse operations, overseeing the receipt, dispatching and storage of parts, security, maintenance, safety and administration. Manage stock control and ensure the timely supply of parts to Production. Manage warehouse operations in compliance with company policy and supply chain strategy, ensure efficient layout and space utilization, labour and equipment to meet stakeholder expectations. Ensure adhere to legislative regulations and requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Manage and monitor inventory by recording and monitoring all inbound and outbound stock Manage inventory to ensure the effective flow of stock in order to optimize inventory levels and to optimize cash flow Report and address discrepancies, late deliveries and slow stock movement Ensure accurate and timeous stock receipts in compliance with company standards Ensure that data of inbound stock is accurately and timeously captured on the system Managed the clean and accurate liability hand over to Finance Manage an efficient warehousing operation through overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations Ensure the safe handling of stock to minimize stock losses Ensure optimised storage layout and capacity Maintaining compliance to regulatory requirements Continuous planning, managing and tracking of stock levels Keeping goods secure and accessible, performing warehousing audits where needed Grade 12 Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum 5 years experience in Warehousing Management in the manufacturing industry At least 3 years experience managing a team of at least 10 employees Good knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes Proficient in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities Excellent negotiation skills Ability to manage time effectively, adapt to change and deliver under pressured deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills Strong organisational skills Exceptional customer service skills
