We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our client's warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven management skills, capable of ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations. Our client is a leading supplier of quality furnishing fabrics and wallpaper, and the Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in maintaining their high standards of product storage, handling, and distribution. This role involves managing the warehouse staff, overseeing logistics, and ensuring that maintenance tasks are performed to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience in warehouse management.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective.
Manage and lead the warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
Handle all general management duties related to the warehouse, including staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse facilities, ensuring that all equipment and infrastructure are in good working condition.
Manage logistics operations, coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping to maintain optimal stock levels.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
