An exciting opportunity exists for aWarehouse ManageratLogistics Support Services DivisioninGqeberha,Eastern CapeThe purpose of the role is to ensure efficient and productive warehouse operations on the site. The suitable candidate will manage inbound and outbound stock movements, last-mile distribution, third-party logistics (3PL), and reverse logistics for the Eastern Cape region.

Key Performance Areas:
Productivity:
Monitor and improve work rates and accuracy
Optimize inbound and outbound operations for timely deliveries
Maintain assets as per SLA and OEM specifications
Stock Management:
Oversee daily warehouse movements and stock counts
Ensure product integrity and implement inventory cycle counts
Align reverse logistics with company procedures
Security & Risk:
Address outstanding audit matters and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Conduct safety inspections and manage on-road risks
Maintain operational CCTV and alarm systems
Financial Management:
Manage daily activity reports and site expenditure
Compile monthly reports on costs and productivity
Review budgets with the Commercial Manager
Team Management:
Establish performance agreements for staff
Provide training and monitor staffing levels
Implement fair disciplinary procedures
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
3 years' experience in a Warehouse Manager role or similar within a logistics FMCG environment
SAP knowledge is essential
MS Office proficiency is essential
Qualifications:
Completed Grade 12 / Matric qualification is essential
Completed tertiary qualification in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management or similar is advantageous
Additional Requirements:
FMCG industry experience is essential
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements within the logistics industry
Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act
Knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act
