We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Manager in the East Rand area for a Multinational company within the FMCG industry.
Requirements: Grade 12 Relevant Diploma / Degree 5+ years Warehouse Management experience Experience within the FMCG industry Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, etc.)
- Essential SAP or Similar Key performance areas: Management of Export Receipt of Finished goods / RMPM from factory Receipt documentation and recording Picking slip / picking FG & RMPM as per sales orders / dispatch schedule / requirement dispatch / loading supervision Dispatch documentation & recording - delivery notes / Invoices, etc.
Periodic cycle Count / Monthly physical verifications and reconciliation Stock management and control GMP / Safety of Warehouse Responsibilities: Incoming: Receiving the FG /RMPM strictly basis approved purchase order Checking of documents like waybill Invoice and physical qty Checking of identification details/any damages and report any deviation before acceptance Upon ensuring everything is in order to take GRN In SAP on same day/within 24 hrs of the receipt basis actual qty received Ensure it is stored at specified storage location with proper Identifications Dispatch: Print GRN and submit with all supporting like waybill, invoice, picking list for further action Getting dispatch schedule/retail/wholesale & others Picking packing stock as per order Co-ordination with logistic company for timely availability of vehicles Creation of picking slip / waybill Supervision of physical loading process Ensure no Excess / short qty loaded and no damages Weekly Monthly/ Quarterly cycle count and stock reconciliation: To send required documents with shipment and ensure timely delivery To prepare a perpetuals5tock count list for weekly cycle count and carry out as per schedule Ideally there should not be diff at warehouse level but in case there are difference then It needs to be investigated and justified Complete the count reconciliation after approval as per DOA Prepare file note and circulate for approval Implement corrective measures Expired Stock Management: Follow the same process for monthly / quarterly physical verification Generate expired items list and share to management team Export Dispatch Management: To get action plan on above for further action and execute To get export shipment schedule from planning head Monitoring of dispatch activity to ensure correct qty/ product is loaded as per the invoice Ensure correct / valid documentation is made and sent with consignment Warehouse Safety: To ensure export dispatch checklist and SOP strictly adhered FG must be stored at specified location and should be updated 100% status labelling All drive walkways should be always clear and ensure no fire extinguishers are blocked by any materials Safety boots / hard hats/ glove/ masks etc are used by staff in the department as per applicable Ensure neatness and clearness at warehouse sections all the times To Ensure GMP Safety Best practices Implementation in Warehouse To Ensure stock controls In All warehouses Labour Control: Ensure no overspend on labour allocation To control the overtime Other: To share FG SOH on weekly basis with sales Team Implement Warehouse related SOP's Training of warehouse team on SOP's Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
