We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations at our warehouse, focusing on the receipt, storage, and dispatch of catering equipment.
The successful candidate will ensure that all items are handled and maintained according to high standards, manage a team of warehouse staff, and promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and customer service.Key Responsibilities:•Operations Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of catering equipment, ensuring proper cleaning, maintenance, and storage.
Manage the dispatch of equipment to customers, ensuring timely, accurate packing, labeling, and delivery.
Implement efficient warehouse processes while ensuring safety and cleanliness.•Team Management: Lead and guide warehouse staff, providing training and support for efficiency and effectiveness.
Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback, implementing development programs as needed.•Inventory Management: Oversee the tracking, recording, and maintenance of inventory.
Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Implement and maintain inventory management systems.•Safety and Compliance: Ensure operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Implement and maintain safety protocols, conducting audits and risk assessments to improve safety standards.•Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally.
Ensure equipment is prepared and dispatched to meet customer needs, offering timely updates on availability and delivery schedules.Requirements:•Essential:o3+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in the equipment rental or hospitality industry.oProven success in managing operations, including inventory control, team leadership, and customer service.oStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, and safety protocols.oExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.oAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.oProficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.•Desirable:oDegree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.oExperience with hospitality or equipment rental software.oKnowledge of health and safety regulations.oCertification in warehouse management or related fields.What We Offer:•Competitive salary .•Opportunity to work with a leading catering equipment hire business.•Dynamic and collaborative work environment.•Professional development and training opportunities.•Recognition for outstanding performance.
