The position will report to the Logistics Manager and is based in Dunnottar.Job Purpose:Manage the physical flows (goods reception, warehousing, inventory, line replenishment, packaging, shipping and reverse logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction (material availability), while contributing to profitability improvement in logistic costs.Key Responsibilities:Develop Logistic performance through the improvement of warehouse(s) processes, competencies and KPI in coordination with local operations.Manage Warehousing (including Line replenishment) and Logistics activities in coordination with local Operations.Manage inventory accuracy in warehouse.Manage the reception, storage, line replenishment, packaging and external shipment.Measure and challenge the performance of the Logistic activities.Deploy the processes/IT tools in Warehouses.Manage Labour Matters.Oversee Third Party Service Providers.Develop annual budgets (Resources) and appropriate organisational structure that support the Logistic activities.Develop and provide appropriate training for team members to enable them to improve and achieve their objectives whilst effectively contributing to business performance.Manage physical flows (warehouse management and line feeding flows).Oversee production order flows and stock consumption.Ensure optimal use and deployment of resources.Manage industrial relations.Implement Warehouse & Inventory Management Systems.Minimum Requirements:National Diploma in Supply Chain or any related field.Similar experience of 5-8 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment.Advanced knowledge of SAP.Strong analytical skills.Sound knowledge of Industrial and Supply Chain processes.Proven industrial (labour) relations experience.Excellent and concise communication and leadership skills.Active team player, deadline driven, process driven.Special Requirements:To carry out technical support and maintenance on a 24/7 shift & on-call basis (night, day, weekend).Closing Date: 12 November 2024Should you not hear from us in 30 days, consider your application as unsuccessful.Job Segment: Logistics, Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain, Supply, Employee Relations, Operations, Human Resources.
