A JSE Listed Manufacturer based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Warehouse Manager with 5 years' experience in a similar environment.Minimum RequirementsMatricFormal Qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain Management (Highly Advantageous)Proven experience in warehouse management or similar roles5 years' solid experience in a similar role with a stable track recordMS Office & SAP Experience (Highly Advantageous)Responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory, and maintaining high standards of organization, safety and securityMonitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excessReport any significant issues or discrepancies to managementOversee the receiving of incoming goods, ensuring they are correctly counted, inspected and recordedEnsure proper documentation and labelling of all goodsImplement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operationsConduct regular safety inspections and training for warehouse staffTrain, motivate, and evaluate warehouse staff to enhance their performance and developmentGenerate regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse activities, and performance metricsDesired SkillsInventoryStockDispatchEmployer & Job BenefitsPlus Pension Fund & 13th Cheque
