A dynamic and driven individual with a continuous improvement mindset who has the strength of character to deliver.Responsibilities/ Core FunctionsTo ensure the warehouse is compliant with company standardsManage the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods from the warehouse.Maximise space usage within the warehouse.Arrange and strategically plan out warehouse, plan routes and deliveriesKeep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and efficienciesPerform weekly cycle counts and investigate any inventory losses.Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targetsFacilitate effective communication within the team and across the site.Focus to improve staff performance.Supervise, coach, and train the Warehouse teamMaintain accurate staff attendance records.Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports/statistics to managementEnsure that deadlines are met timeouslyTimeously resolve any arising issues or complaintsComply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.Remain on call for any emergencies.Specifications (Skills And Proficiency)Professional: Able to adapt quickly and effectively to operational requirements.Can work in a fast-paced and very busy warehouse.Ability to implement and improve on existing processes/systemsAbility to contribute at management level to forging success for the companyAbility to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures to others.Ability to develop individuals in a team so that they achieve their full potential.Ability to create, manage, and improve management reportsAn organized and strongly efficient manager who leads by example and is able to adapt quickly and effectively to operational issuesValid driver's licence and own reliable transport.QualificationsMatricTertiary qualification relating to Logistics / Warehouse / Distribution is advantageousMinimum of 7 years of warehouse experience and 4 years Warehouse Manager Experience.This is a demanding position that will suit a hands-on, high energy, and output-based individual.
