Warehouse Manager - Montague Gardens
The role would be suited to a hands-on Manager who is passionate about continuous improvement & has a track record of successfully managing inventory, people, processes & systems!
Strong leadership skills needed to manage a small & diverse team.
Some responsibilities will include: Manage the efficient receipt, storage & dispatch of a wide range of goods from the warehouseEnsure compliance with company standardsPerforming weekly cycle counts & investigate any inventory lossesSupervise, train & coach the Warehouse team & ensure collaborative team effort at all timesFacilitate effective communication within the team & across the siteComplete daily & weekly reports for ManagementComply with all Health, Safety & Environmental standardsStrategically plan out warehouse, plan routes & deliverablesRemain on call for emergenciesExperience, Qualifications & Skills required: - 2 Years experience as Warehouse Manager in a fast-moving environment Retail industry would be ideal!
- Matric coupled with qualification relating to Logistics / Warehouse or Distribution
- Valid drivers license & own reliable vehicle
- Strong leadership skills & able to develop team individuals so they achieve their full potential
- Ability to create, manage & improve management reports
