Warehouse Manager

RPO Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our client in the Food Manufacturing & Transport industry team. As such, our Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse operation, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all aspects of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for leading, training and developing a team of associates to become a driving force for success in the business.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilmentEnsure safety compliance with all OSHA and company regulationsDevelop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocolsDevelop and manage warehouse KPIs to measure and improve performance, including productivity and accuracy metricsOptimize warehouse layout and organization, leveraging space and material handling equipment for maximum efficiencyAnalyze inventory levels to prevent stockouts, manage replenishment activities, and minimize excess inventoryMaintain positive relationships with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless and efficient shipping and receiving operationsManage and develop a team of warehouse associates, providing training and guidance to maximize performance while maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in logistics, business management, or a related field5+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentStrong communication skills, including the ability to effectively manage, coach and mentor teamsDemonstrated experience with warehouse management software (WMS), inventory management, and order fulfillment systemsProven ability to drive operational and process improvementsExperience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies preferredAble to work flexible hours as needed, including nights and weekendsKnowledge of OSHA safety requirements and regulations.
