Your responsibilities will include: Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting productivity targets.Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, track inventory, and ensure accurate stocktaking and reporting.Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, including training, performance management, and developing a formal succession plan for key positions.Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate with transportation teams and manage the loading and unloading of goods. Manage own fleet and courier performance, costs, and charges.Safety and Security: Ensure a safe working environment, implement safety procedures, and maintain security protocols. Manage health and safety compliance.Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure the quality of goods and warehouse operations.Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency. Handle daily and monthly reporting.Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the warehouse budget, control costs, and optimize resources. Strong drive to control and improve operational costs.Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize warehouse operations. Monitor, enhance, and ensure adherence to Standard Warehouse Operating Procedures.Human Resources Management: Manage HR tasks including disciplinary actions, wage negotiations, timekeeping, overtime, leave, and people performance.Qualifications & Experience: Minimum matric and Relevant Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehousing.At least 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse management role, with a proven ability to manage a team of plus minus 20 people.
