Warehouse Manager (Chemicals)

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager specializing in chemicals to join our client in the industrial sector.
In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the safe and efficient storage, handling, and distribution of chemical products within the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations for handling hazardous materials.
Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
Implement and maintain inventory management systems to monitor stock levels and product movement.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient logistics.
Conduct regular audits of warehouse practices and inventory counts to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to improve warehouse operations.
Ensure appropriate handling and storage of chemicals, following relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements Preference given to African candidates Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the chemicals industry.
Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations associated with handling chemicals.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory control systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
